Professor Hyungshin Yim has investigated therapeutic targets for cancer treatment based on the genetic mutation and aberrant expression in primary and metastatic cancer. Prof. Yim has studied the interaction of Plk1 with several molecules to define its function in tumorigenesis and metastasis. In addition, causal genes and developmental mechanisms of polycystic kidney disease have been studied.
